Can Foxes Eat Duck Bones

Foxes are known for their scavenging habits and will often eat whatever they can find. This means that they will consume both meat and bones. While foxes are capable of digesting bones they should not be given to them on a regular basis.

Duck bones in particular can be a problem for foxes. This is because they are often very small and sharp which can cause internal damage. In addition duck bones can also splinter which can cause choking.

If you must give your fox a duck bone make sure that it is cooked and that the marrow has been removed.

Their diet usually consists of small mammals such as rodents or rabbits but they will also eat birds reptiles fish insects and fruits.
