In November of last year Fox News host Tucker Carlson came under fire for comments he made on his show in which he appeared to condone the use of tear gas on children.

“I know tear gas is awful it’s horrible it’s a nightmare” Carlson said. “But um you know we’ve all had to run through tear gas before.

It’s not that big of a deal.”

These comments sparked outrage with many people accusing Carlson of being insensitive to the suffering of children.

Now it seems that Carlson may have actually enjoyed seeing children being tear gased.

In a newly released audio clip Carlson can be heard laughing as he watches a group of children being tear gassed at the U.S.-Mexico border.

“Oh man that’s hilarious” Carlson can be heard saying. “Look at that ha ha!”

Carlson then goes on to say that the tear gas is “making them run away.”

This audio clip is sure to reignite the controversy surrounding Carlson’s comments on tear gas.

Carlson has yet to comment on the audio clip but it’s hard to see how he can defend himself this time.

It’s reprehensible enough that Carlson would make light of the suffering of children but to actually enjoy watching them being tear gassed is truly sickening.

There’s simply no place for this kind of rhetoric on television and Carlson should be ashamed of himself.
