How many players are needed to play Donkey?

Answer: 4 players are needed.

What is the aim of the game?

Answer: The aim is to get rid of all of the cards in your hand.

How do you win the game?

Answer: The first player to get rid of all of their cards wins the game.

What is the value of each card?

Answer: Aces are worth 1 point 2s through 10s are worth face value and Jacks Queens and Kings are each worth 10 points.

What is the value of the Donkey card?

Answer: The Donkey card is worth 25 points.

How do you take your turn?

Answer: On your turn you must play one card.

The card you play must be higher than the previous card played.

What happens if you can’t play a card?

Answer: If you can’t play a card you must draw a card from the deck.

If you can play the card you drew you may play it immediately.

Otherwise your turn ends.

Answer: When the deck runs out of cards the player who played the last card must take the Donkey card.
