Is China The Black Sheep Of Asia

Since the early 20th century, China has been labeled the black sheep of Asia. This is largely due to its political and economic system, which is vastly different from the rest of the continent. For instance, China is a communist country while most of Asia is capitalist.

Additionally, China’s economy is much less developed than those of its Asian neighbors.
However, there are many who believe that China is not the black sheep of Asia. They argue that the country has made great strides in recent years, particularly in terms of economic development.

Additionally, they point to the fact that China is home to the world’s largest population and is thus an important player on the global stage.
